Oh, Mighty Ocean

There is no force as profuse,
That pilfers the breath of our audacious people,
That mutinies our sailors,
During a rankling storm,
And confiscates our lives.

Oh, mighty ocean,
There is no blue this perfect to depict,
That calms our nerves,
With the serene melody of the waves,
When at peace;
No inkling of anything that could be more beautiful.

Oh, mighty ocean,
As you guide us on our journeys,
and we embark on our missions,
We must be consciences,
Act with prudence,
And not make slovenly choices,
For fighting your undefeatable strength,
Would be pointless.
