Since March 11th, 2011, at 2:46 p.m. Japan has been grappling with the tragedy of the 8.9 magnitude earthquake, followed by one of the most intense tsunamis in recorded history.
Preceding the tsunami the azure ocean became fitful, facilitating the deployment of the copious amounts of water. Crucial to the rise of the waves, was the deceleration of the water, as it approached land, reaching Hawaii and California.
The crash of the initial waves was audible for miles. The news of this devastating event was heard immediatly through the banter on the internet and social networks world wide.
The fastidious Japanese, who are very adept with the aspects of earthquakes and tsunamis, had already prepared capacious facilities to house the thousands of displaced and injured civilians. The United States--as well as over 90 other countries--and dozens of relief organizations, are coming to the aid of these people in their time of need. We have all felt a pang of regret for those suffering through this catostrophic incident. Japan, you are not alone.
